Re: [NSW] - hilarious SMH article

Might I remind CityRail then, that there is a relief line between North
Strathfield junction and Rhodes that can be used for overtakings,
throughout the day not just two or three trips in the morning and
perhaps one in the afternoon?

Don't know what their obsession is with sending trains over to the down
main north from the down north suburban at North Strathfield junction.
The highspeed turnouts are perfect at Concord West, yet trains still
have to slow to a measly 25km/h at North Strathfield, when they can
roar across to the main line at 80km/h at Concord West or Rhodes.
