Re: NSW Derailment @ Flemo 30/9?



Yep, this did happen, I was on-board the 6:48pm (Intercity Service) and
it was travelling much slower than usual, switched tracks after
Strathfield and the people in my carriage huddled on the right to see
the derailed train at the Flemo yards.

I think the train was an R or S set I'm not sure, but there were plenty
of guys in orange vests around the front of the train. But there was a
G-SET coming from the east travelling through the loop as usual instead
of the diversion via Lidcombe.

Also (Out of this topic) The HET's restored red rattler set (I think it
was F1) was parked outside of the shed.
