How so? The vast majority of corporate hotels are in the CBD and 95% of the
CBD is north of Central.

That is only for those who have early morning meetings. I had stacks of
corporates travelling around lunchtime, or in the evening (to spend the
night so as not to have to get up at 0300 to get the first flight) - they
all spent the first part of the day in the office. Other travel agents with
corporate clients will tell you the same thing.

Most of them live in Sydney? WHat prompts you to make this assumption? Since
Melbourne has the head offices of more Australian companies than Sydney
does, it would stand to reason that more executives would live in Melbounre
(I know, "live" and "Melbourne" in the same sentence is a bit unsettling,
but try to cope) and they have to make trips to Sydney on occasions.

You are doing nothing of the sort. I am applying the same methodolgy and
practices that have been successfully proven overseas to Australia. You are
doing nothing more than sidetracking and deliberately being obstructionist.

Rubbish.

I have booked people, and arranged their travel from when they leave home
until they get to the other end. That involves travel from home to the
airport. I think I have more experience than you do. I have also had to give
advice to non-clients as to the best way to get to the airport, and the best
connections from other parts of Sydney. I know what I am talking about here,
both with regard to the tourist trade and the corporate market.

I wish Tony Bailey would wade in here. I believe that he would back me up,
and that two corporate teavel consultants (one current, one former) would be
able to provide their real life experiences over the observations of a train
driver.
