Re: [OT] ventillation



The approaches to the station are a tunnel, and they DO turn on the vent
fans when diesel loco's go through there. The actual use of these vent
fans however is only  for periods when there is smoke (ie. a fire)
present in the tunnel. 

They are not designed for sustained or prolonged use.
