I think NRC currently run 4 trains a week from Adelaide to Alice Springs
with an average weight of around 3000t (there is one Ghan(?)).  These
freight trains carry all the Alice loading plus the loading that goes on to
Darwin by road.

Where will all the remaining loading come from........ or will the track
access rate be much higher than elsewhere?
