Perhaps they forgot that Wolli Creek was done on the cheap and there were no
platforms on the Illawarra Locals?

Not Bi-Di. It is still the Eveleigh Engine Dive. It is worked under yard
working conditions with two-way running.

The cause: Someone broke into the rear crew compartment and pulled the
emergency tap. The driver didn't realise this was the cause until an off duty
guard going home noticed it.
