On Wednesday the Up North Suburban was closed during off peak hours to allow rotten wooden sleepers
to be replaced with new ones. My estimate is around 150 were pulled out over that stretch.
Up Trains were diverted to the Up Main North either after departing Epping or were diverted to use
platform 2 Epping.
