TAM and XAM are identical, the only difference being that the XAM was wired
up for heating from certain 44 and 48 class locos.

Oh, you meant the XPT version. :-)

The TAM's were fine cars, but in the middle of winter, I would rather have
an air-conditioned FAM any day, or better still an LAN.
