The way that (Down) Shore trains run to City then to the West/Main North really puts strain on the
system. If the train is delayed somewhere early into the run then basically the whole network is
stuffed, and this affects South (Liverpool/Campbelltown via Granville/Regents' Park) services too as
many of these services share tracks with West/Main North

What can be done is by terminating all west/main north trains at North Sydney, and all North Shore
trains at Central; South line at Central Platform 22/3 (after City Circle) and East Hills at Central
(platform 20/21). Simplifies a lot of things.
