Comeng/Budd licences

Comeng used many engineering techniques under licence from Budd. A notable
example is fluted steel flooring to maintain strength while reducing
weight. The Indian Pacific cars were the first in Australia to use this
technique.

The IP cars and many other Comeng products were marked "Made under licence
from the Budd Car Company". I think this continued until at least the
first batch of V sets.

Does anybody know when Comeng stopped putting this on their products? An
examination of different batches of rollingstock should give a rough
answer.
