The NSW Budds were shorter (72') than a "standard" Budd RDC (85'). They
were pretty successful on the South Coast Daylight Express for about their
first 20 years from 1961 onwards.

One survivor, described in May 1999 Trains, is a fleet of 13 refurbished
cars used on commuter service in Dallas TX.

Virginia Rail Express runs (at least, ran last year) loco-hauled Budd RDC
cars on its commuter routes to the SW of Washington DC into Virginia.

Whatever happened to Commonwealth Railways' three imported Budd cars?

Is the WAGR "Prospector" close enough to a Budd RDC to qualify?
