Why?   We don't want any more problems!    The set is totally non-standard, not
to mention of course, gauge difference.    Acquisition WAS seriously considered
last year, but not proceeded with.

Incidentally, do you know that a "W" set (single deck power car + Tulloch
trailer +  Tulloch trailer + single deck power car) has only 20 seat less than
the Melbourne 4DD.   If SRA was really desperate, it could be utilised for the
peak couple of weeks on a line like Carlingford for minimal cost, releasing a
"standard" DD set for use elsewhere.
