The driver hands his key to the guard who then proceeds to the rear driving
compartment.  The guard will then place the reverser into reverse and await bell
signals from the driver for when to apply and cut off power.  The driver
controls the brakes in automatic.  The guard is not to touch the brake unless
the driver fails to signal he is OK via bell signals.
