March Railway Digest

"The Paterson Correspondent" in the lower North Coast report has got
it wrong again. In the March issue of RD, it was reported that on
Monday 24/1, resleepering was carried out in the Kilbride-Wallarobba
section by a train made up of 39 wagons, including NDGF's,NDXF's and
NPZH's. This train was push pull through Paterson, with 8240/8110 and
8109/8152.

What in fact this train was,was a test train for the new high speed
weighbridge at Wallarobba, and other new weighbridges in the lower
Hunter.
