The number of people wanting a Ballarat to Ararat service would be
miniscule. Is anyone suggesting that a approx 50 mile piece of mainline be
restored and maintained for maybe a dozen passengers per day? Get real.
A bus service for these passengers could easily be run at a far lower cost
to the taxpayer.
