While I was at the tramway museum at Loftus yesterday I got a ride on a test
run of their latest acquisition. It is a Bendigo Tramways Birney car, I
think it is No.28. It is on loan from Bendigo for 2 years.
2 Sydney R class trams have gone to Bendigo and will be restored there but I
don't know if they will be used there once restored.
