Well it may not be the limited refurbishment that causes this. It may be
that the carriage is unrefurbished. I think DIM8078 still runs with blue
goose livery, but it's unrefurbished.

But the seating and the carpets are the reason why I think most of the
carriages haven't been refurbished. I usually see three to four V sets a
day and I don't see all that many with the green seating. Especially
motor cars. The DKMs only received green seats at the end of last year
and I've never seen a refurbished DJM.

I think they've done mostly DCMs and a few DIMs and maybe half to three
quarters (AT MOST) the DITs. Personally I think Simon Lane was lying his
head off to get a fare rise.
