JR in Australia

One of the listed member of ARA in ARA's 2000 year book is surprisingly
<<<JR Central>> or Central Japan Railway company
The Japanese operator based in Nagoya and operates Bullet trains/pricipal
narrow gauge trains in central part of Japan.

Apparantly JR Central set up an office at AMP building in Sydney and run
local subsdiary company that export Australian products to Japan or sell
those products on board JR Central's train. (Possibly food )

The office in Sydney also collect Australian railway industry information
and send to Japan. (They didn't bid for NR and Westrail did they?)
