Well even our local rag has finally caught up on the goss. The Shepparton
News has a full color front page (albeit no image on their web page
http://news.mcmedia.com.au capitulating the Speedrail excitement purporting
a 85 minute trip to Melbourne 35 min by car to Benalla and 50 min by train
to Melbourne. A nice photo appears with Speedrail general manager Josh
Baker in front of a prototype loco named the VHST, Very High Speed Train you
would think they would come up with something more appropriate than VHST in
today's corporate world, but I guess nobody is really serious about the
venture anyway.
