Queensland Transport and Main Roads Minister, Steve Bredhauer, has called on
the Federal Government to address the need for rail funding and track
upgrades. The Minister's appeal comes as the Federal Government reasserts
its position on limited rail spending. The Government has stated it will not
invest further funds in the rail industry until reforms are in place.

By doing so would this makes Sunshine Coast railway construction accelerate?
further curve and grade easing on QR's North Coast line? Further Gold Coast
line extension? Citytrain expansion to Greenbank/Redclife/Beaudesert? and
solve Citytrain's lacking rolling stock problem? and sleeper for diesel tilt
train??? Toowoomba main range and Little Liverpool range deviation?
