Re: SLR - Extension work proceeding and the RTL



The idea of turning the light rail back towards Leichhardt Town Hall (Norton
St/Marion St) sounds rather strange. To reach that area from the city
Parramatta Rd is so much more direct. Surely it would be better to extend
light rail towards Abbotsford on Marion/Ramsay St (the former tramline). On
street running would be quite practical as this is not an area of great
traffic density (or wasn't the last time I was there, which admittedly was
some years ago).
