Re: Re: [NSW] More destination indicator woes

well first of all David I didn't direct the "attack" (as u seem to treat it as one) at anyone in
particular but in many cases it is drivers that don't get it right--in this case "LPO via RGP" (for
brevity's sake) being displayed through the airport is somewhat inappropriate for those that don't
know the train will proceed there. Who else but the driver would have access to the indicator
though? the general public/passengers (like myself)?

Of course by you saying the indicators do not have "Airport" programmed is quite dodgy on CityRail's
part & that many controls have been disconnected (or even "removed" as in T69's case) from the
indicators themselves

Thankyou so much. It is all my fault that there is no destination for the airport. It is
all my
fault that pressing CLR results in a 15 minute wait for the display to clear. It is all
my fault
that many cabs don't have the list of destination codes, and the roster book doesn't have
a copy.
It is all my fault that when I type in a code, the unit says "Invalid Code". It is all my
fault
that the unit says "Initialising" indefinately. It is all my fault that The control box
in T69 was
missing. It is all my fault that a chopper set permanently goes to Ingleburn. Yep, it's
the
driver that controls it all right.
