Most people access newsgroups by a newsreader, such as the built-in
newsreaders in Netscape or Microsoft's equivalent, or through other
newsreaders such as Forte Agent and Free Agent. You can access it via
Deja but Netscape, Agent etc are much simpler.

You really need to mention this in your FAQ. I've never heard of a
newsgroup being available by email unless it is a mailing list or
gatewayed to a mailing list (as mtu-t is). But aus.rail is not gatewayed
to a mailing list -- or have I missed something?
