I used to go to school very close to at least part of the Olympic village,
it was at Newlands a little east of Pentridge prison. I'm not sure if it was
the whole village but everyone called it the Olympic village, was later used
as housing comision flats. I think there were also bits of the Olympic
village in the Heidleberg area but I'm not sure
