Took out the items/text. Use the FTS extract for research/finding stuff.

Not the current strategy. I only want to show small images. Whilst I
understand that todays world is visual, I'll settle for text links and small
images. But here's the problem: the pages and images are all selected on a
search criteria from a large database. What if 2000 links pop up on one
page? To me thats a problem with 2000 thumbnails plus 2000 larger images.
But I agree with you, it would be nice.

Can't do that. My reasoning is that if you want the photo you really don't
care whether its black and white or color. Whilst to know is very nice, its
irrelevant. But I'll look around for something that can tell me quickly
without a field in the database

Yes I agree. In this case I only have topic (Rail -- Victoria ). As its a
report format there is the possibility of many topics being shown.
I guess seeing there's only one topic I could present a hand made HTML page.
