Hey folks!

The last four of the 47 class were withdrawn at Broadmeadow in on the 31st
December 1990. These last four units were 4705, 4706, 4714 and 4717. They
spent most of their "last days" assigned to Pelton Coal Trains.

For more info on the 47's see "Australian Diesel Scene  No.1" published by
Eveleigh Press (1992). I believe this book is still available through some
Hobby Shops and maybe the ARHS bookshop at Redfern in Sydney.
