Yarra Trams to change routed

>From the 9th of August Yarra Trams will be changing the 11 (West
Preston) & 12 (St Kilda Beach) around.    They will be combining the
two routes into one, with the tram starting in West Preston and
finishing in St Kilda...with a catch!

This has been done because Yarra are running short of rolling stock
because the W's are off the road, and at the moment the change will be
a tempory mesure.

Because Yarra does not want to "confuse" the passengers, the tram will
start from St Kilda as a number 12 tram (as currently occurs) and have
"City - Brunswick Street" as their destination, and once the tram gets
to Spencer & Collins Street the driver must change the destination &
route number for the West Preston Line...and then keep on going.

Using the old route 10 is not an option becuase Yarra are contracted
to run a number 12 and Number 11 tram route..
