Re: 85 class status?



I don't know about Valley Heights, but the word is the RTM may end up with 
an 86-class eventually (and it won't be 8650. AFAIK, they're not interested 
in one-offs as they don't represent the whole class).

SETS has no intention of preserving either an 85 or an 86 at this time 
owing to cost of parts and the question of where to store it. However, 
there is the chance that one may be privately preserved.
