Wait until the upgrading work is complete (and before you say it will never
be complete, it IS advancing along).  The seating will apparently be like
the new style on the Sydney Terminal concourse - that is, it has handrails
in between each seat space to prevent derro's using them as a mattress.  The
seating was removed to free up all available space as a result of creating 2
more exits on the platform - this will make passenger flow easier and lessen
the "jostling" you experienced.

and whinging, impossible-to-please passengers don't?  If upgrading work
wasn't done, it'd be a case of "why don't they do something about this
station".  When the work is being done, it's a case of "why are they doing
this?".  When the work is complete, it still won't be good enough, correct?
