Or if the bricks were made of paper. Or if the custard tart had C4 inside.
Or both.
But, In the case where we are talking about your every day garden variety
brick wall, and your every day bakery variety custard tart, a far higher
velocity would be a major consideration. We would then need to perform an
analysis into whether it's viable to accelerate the custard tart to such a
velocity where it would pierce through the brick wall.
Personally, I'd take the bulldozer...
