Yes, but why on earth did they go under George Street Redfern and avoid the
already half completed Redfern station platforms and dive under the
Illawarra at Wells Street? Pax going from East Hills line to Main Suburban
stations would not have had to travel to Central to change. There must be
some logical reason  for the change from the original plans in the 50s.
