IIRC it cost 13Billion$+ to build this line........(I still have the paper
to prove it)

I suspect the accurcy of this information as it will take Alice
Spring-Darwin line a few years to be in black and they most probabily will
run at most 5 trains a day.....let along Melbourne-Darwin line.......
