Yes and no. Looks similar, but check the nose and the skirt around the
wheels. What? There's no skirt over the wheels? :)

Correct! That's the main difference. There isn't much of a Tangara which
would plug straight into the 4D. The seats might. All the internal and
external panels, windows and much of the electrics are different. Many of
the cab fittings might fit, but some are wired up differently. Remember
that the 4D is wired to run in multiple with a Comeng set.

The 4D is based on a Tangara, but it's not a Tangara.
