Re: [NSW]East Hills line



When recabled (as opposed to resignalled) (late 70s early 80s the cables
were buried about 2 to 3 feet.  The tragic irony is the existing lines are
being resignalled early to allow the old cabling to be ripped up prior to
quadruplication.  Who jumped the gun?

How many signals were knocked out (and were they all autos) ?  Everything
Kingsgrove to Turrella?  That's about 8 autos to trip past each way.
