QR have enough job for everyone, if they can get more interstate "North
Coast direct" business from Sydney and Melbourne directly to northern
Queensland cities. As well as Sunshine coast and Gold Coast-
Sydney/Melbourne freight.

On top of that some travel train extension to Sydney or Melbourne would help
to reduce job cutting.
