Yet Another Derailment

MS7 this morning(0630) derailed when setting back into the up refuge at Moss
Vale to check a sqeeling noise coming from one of the wheels. Two wagons were
derailed.
I have heard on the grapevine that the cause was scale on the wheels.
The up main was blocked all day till about 1730hrs with all up trains
running via the down main and goods loop and then back to the up. EL52 and
51 were at the head of MS7 with EL51 being left behind and EL52(Light
Fingers) heading to town with about 30 wagons. EL51 left Moss Vale behind
SP24 about 1945 with the rest of the train minus the two derailed wagons
which apparently are to undergo a bogie exchange before returning to
traffic.
Damage at Mossy was relatively minor with the FPL on the points from the up
yard to the up refuge being damaged and the crowder(derail) at the north end
of the refuge being damaged thereby rendering the up refuge unusable at the
moment.
