Peter I seem to remember it was the late 70s and bi-directional Signalling
was
also installed at that time. XYZ keys were installed not at the Uo End but
at a
place I think between the last two tunels at the Zig Zag end and access from
the
mine road off the bells line of road. This was I believe the first
installation of Bi-Di
style signalling in NSW. The track was paved concrete, which has in the last
few
years I believe shown signs of movement. There are some very sepctacular
views
in the gullies between the tunnels. There was clearance problems with the
NRs
here and all the Signall Troughing had to be moved recently.
