I fully agree. Even with only the Great South Pacific Express they smash the
living daylights out of every other system. I was amazed when I went to
Brisbane from Nerang for the first time, and a QR IMU on 3'6 at 140km/h was
far smoother than a CityRail V set at 60km/h, and quieter than a CityRail
Tangara. They may not know much about enthusiasts, but they know how to run
a railway.
As for left wing vs right wing? Please explain how a rail system is
socialist or communist, even if it is government owned?
