Thanks, Bill for your most considered and detailed comment.  Although QR
certainly needs to improve its image with enthusiast photographers who dare
to take pictures of its trains, it runs rings around around NSW in terms of
its long distance travel for booking facilities, passenger comfort and
on-board services, (despite the toy train gauge) and their marketing machine
would arguably be the best in the country.
