Hi folks,
We visited the RTM recently on one of our rare trips to Sydney region.
Saw an ALCO diesel on a well wagon. The diesel had a plate attached with the following; Engine #
8638 12V 251C
I assume as a 251 unit it did not belong to a 40 or 43 class. As a 12V it also did not belong in a
48 class.
Anyone know what loco this diesel came out of?? I assume someone from the RTM reads this newsgroup
and knows the history of this item.
