Yes, they kept running but they were empty between 11.45 and 1.15.

The best part of the night for me was the driver's cab ride back to
Chatswood. The train arrived full at Milsons Point but the driver called for
me to get in, then the family, then one or two more. At North Sydney we
packed more in. A great service and a great attitude by this driver and all
the staff and police. If this is typical then the olympics should be no
trouble.
