At Wynyard today the 15 minute late 4.54 pm to Hornsby was shown on the
indicator board as a 6 car set. As it entered the platform I observed the R
target hoping that by some miracle it was airconditioned. My prayers were
answered. It was an R set minus a C and a T car coupled to an airconditioned
4 car K set.
