In the end it only means more time spent trying to find a non-fossil
fuel based alternative, and the eventual end of pure diesel power is a
fact of life that will outlast any arrangement between RAC and its
various customers. Increasing the use of electric traction now will
inevitably mean large savings on fuel expenditure in 5-10 years time.
