First report I've ever read of a 57 working the Riverina Express!

Sure, there are details published of 57 class trials on the Melbourne
Limited Express in the 1940's.  The Riverina Express started running under
that name ca. 1948 with 38 class.

More details of 57's "reportedly" hauling the 348 ton Riverina Express
(please!).
