[NSW] EIS on CD-ROM for Parramatta - Chatswood Railway

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Parramatta Rail Link
(read Parramatta - Chatswood Railway) was released on CD-ROM
yesterday.

For anyone interested in the technical details (including proposed
design parameters, proposed route, social impacts, transport impacts,
flora/fauna/heritage impacts, etc. etc.) the CD-ROM is fantastic!

It contains 6 PDF files:
1.    The EIS Summary
2.    The EIS volume 1
3.    The EIS volume 2
4.    The EIS volume 3
5.    The EIS Working Papers volume 1
5.    The EIS Working Papers volume 2
It also contains Adobe Acrobat Reader 4 so you can access the files.

Each volume is up to several hundred pages long.

The CD-ROM is free whereas a hard copy of the EIS costs $25.
