IMUs already have luggage space provided, and building more of the same
IMU units can save design cost and maintanence cost. The airport trains
won't be short trip trains as most of the services will through running
to Robina therefore it make sense to use the IMUs instead of anything
else.

In a separate news, public transport user groups encourage QR to order
more IMUs for completely replacement of non-IMU units on interurban
service like Gold Coast and Nambour/Gympie service.
