Paul,
        Has it been given BTH motors with spur gears? That would make it a
'real' tram!!!
        Tongue in cheek but do you remember the good old days in Melbourne
when those noisy W2s with spur gears used to ply the tracks?
        509,513,249,329,426,601,608 & 451 spring to mind.
        Ah! those were the days!
