If you can find a second driver or shunter you can split them, however
there are very few (around 8 sets) of 3 car Hitachi trains that have cab
mods to both Motors.  These 3 car hitachi trains are normally mixed with
other hitachi making 6 car sets.  But in 1997 when the Upfield line was
cut from the rest of the system (except via Somerton and non
electrified) they used some of these 3 car hitachi trains with the cab
mods to both motors.

Comeng don't like the cold either.  Comeng complain too much, hitachi
just keep going and going snow or heat wave.
