A majestic creature if ever there was one, I have seen
large adult birds with a wing span well over 2 metres. 
They can glide for incredible distances using the hot
outback thermal air currents.

The choice by the former Commonwealth operator to use
this bird for the Indian Pacific was just brilliant.
