Re: How long is a chain?

David Martin, the figure of 24.07 m equalling one chain is wrong, the
correct conversion is 20.116. As proof: one chain equals 66 feet, one metre
equals 3.281 feet, therefeore divide 66 by 3.281, the answer is 20.116,
which is the number of metres in one chain.
